Hands-on troubleshooter moving into tech — software, radio, electronics, and whatever else needs figuring out.
I co-owned and ran a lawn care business, which taught me how to show up, solve problems on the spot, and keep customers happy.
Later, as marketing manager at a small business, I ended up being the go-to tech person — keeping systems, devices, and the website running alongside the marketing work.
Outside work I'm always building: repairing and extending open-source software, running a solar-powered mesh radio network, and designing parts on my 3D printer. Now I'm turning that into a career in tech.
Took a broken, AI-modified codebase of MeshSense (a Meshtastic network monitoring app) and got it working again, then built and packaged it as a distributable .dmg for Intel Mac users.
Designed and run a personal off-grid mesh radio network: a desktop node plus solar-powered nodes at two properties, monitored through my own MeshSense build.
Measure, design, test, and iterate on real-world parts — like a custom PETG plug that fit a tricky gap in an aquarium lid, refined across several versions.
Hand-written HTML/CSS, version-controlled on GitHub, and deployed on Cloudflare with my own domain and email.
